Ministries

Lighthouse Memorial Church has many different ministries that provide ways to stay connected and serve our community. Together we can make a difference.

Sewing Ministry

Do you like to sew? Then why not join our sewing ministry? It is a fun way to be creative and fellowship while helping different organizations within our community. We make quilts, lap throws, adult bibs, and baby blankets. Everything that we make we donate to help those in need.

So, are you interested in joining this fun group of ladies? They meet every 3 weeks. Contact Nancy McDaniel for further details.

Basket of Love Ministry

Our Basket of Love ministry provides small necessities along with treats, games, greeting cards and handmade gifts. Every basket is assembled with each individual recipient in mind. Baskets are distributed throughout the community to those in need of a little pick me up. All of the baskets, materials and supplies are made possible through donations.

If interested in helping out with the Basket of Love ministry, or if you know of someone in need contact Debbie Snyder.

Radio Ministry

You can listen to Lighthouse Memorial Radio 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It can be found at http://mixlr.com/lighthouse_memorial_radio/ or download the MixLR app on your Android or Apple device, and search for Lighthouse_Memorial_Radio.

Thanks to Ralph Harper II for making this ministry a success.

Prison Ministry

We believe that the men and women that are incarcerated need to be shown our attention and love. There is no one beyond his reach. Our prison ministry wants everyone to have the chance to heal and come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Ladies meet every three weeks and mail out cards of encouragement, birthday cards, word puzzles and bibles.

For more information contact Kelly Williamson.

Card Ministry

Who doesn’t appreciate receiving a greeting card? From birthday cards, celebrations, to words of encouragement a card is a great tool for communication. Our card ministry allows us to show others that we care and are thinking of them even when we cannot be with them physically.

For more information regarding our Card Ministry contact Debbie Snyder.

Bereavement Ministry

Bob Lovett personally reaches out to grieving families with comfort and support. He provides prayers with the family and also sends typed messages of prayer through their time of grief.

Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
Van Ministry

To help serve the children in our community we provide transportation to and from Sunday morning service and Wednesday evening service.

Group Ministries

At Lighthouse Memorial Church, we know that Christian relationships are essential for spiritual growth. That is why we have several groups that meet on a regular basis. Our groups offer fellowship, devotion, encouragement as well as a good time and great food.
